Mrs. Crystal Alvarado
My name is Crystal Alvarado. I am incredibly honored to serve as Principal of Maedgen Elementary and welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. Maedgen has a great tradition of serving many generations of families and I am looking forward to continuing this tradition. I have several years of experience as an Assistant Principal, Instructional coach and Classroom Teacher. I look forward to serving the students, parents, and staff at Maedgen Elementary !! Go Lions!!!

As I start my 20th year in education, ten of those in administration, I know that I am blessed by what I get to do each and every day! The last two years have been the highlight of my career as I've had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal of Maedgen. The teachers, students, families, and community who I get to serve alongside are the best! I look forward to another great year with more memories to make!
